Located at 6500 Newberry. There is a TRAFFIC light on Newberry that you can turn off of Newberry onto our driveway between the MAIN entrance of the hospital and ABC Fine Wines. The Main Entrance is the first building on your right,  on your left is a small parking lot as you come down the driveway. Continue down the driveway the ER is on the right and there is a parking garage on the left. Park, walk back to the Main Entrance of the Hospital   you’ll pass a granite ball fountain. Go thru 2 automatic double doors IMMEADIATLY go right you will see a seating area and beyond the seating area is a classroom with double wooden doors with leaded glass panels in them. That is your classroom.

4 out of 5 car seats are installed incorrectly which can pose a serious safety problem for your baby. Let our Certified Car Seat Techs teach you to put the car seat in correctly and safely. You will bring your seat to class where we will go over placement of the harness on the baby, care of the car seat, use of the seat and then we will go out to the cars and assist you with properly and safely installing the car seat.

Courtney Candow and Mindy Friedman will be the instructors for this class.

 

Directions:

Located at 6500 Newberry in the Women’s Center of North Florida Regional Medical Center which is across the drive way from the duck pond. Go in to the Women’s Center there will be elevators on your right, take those to the basement there are signs to follow to you classroom.

 

Please park your car on the 3rd floor of the Women’s Center Parking Garage. Bring your car seat to class if you have the carrier kind with the base you can leave the base in the car and bring the carrier.

This class will be held at North Florida Regional Medical Center Women's Center Basement Classroom located at 6500 Newberry Road, Gainesville, FL 32605.

Please park your car on the 3rd floor of the Women's Center parking garage so we will all be together when the instructors are assisting with placement of the seat in the car. Please bring the car seat to class if you have the carrier type you may leave the base in the car.

You will bring your seat to class where we will go over placement of the harness on the baby, care of the car seat, use of the seat and then we will go out to the cars and assist you with properly and safely installing the car seat.

Courtney Candow and Mindy Friedman will be the instructors for this class.

 

Directions:

Located at 6500 Newberry in the Women’s Center of North Florida Regional Medical Center which is across the drive way from the duck pond. Go in to the Women’s Center there will be elevators on your right, take those to the basement there are signs to follow to you classroom.

 

Please park your car on the 3rd floor of the Women’s Center Parking Garage. Bring your car seat to class if you have the carrier kind with the base you can leave the base in the car and bring the carrier.

 

Please reschedule if you have a sore throat, fever, sneezing and coughing

Partners are encouraged to come to class or anyone who will be providing care for the child. Bring diapers, wipes, blanket, and anything that child likes for soothing. Parents will receive “Baby’s First Massage” booklet and massage oil.

If you would like to pay by check please use the self-addressed check sent to you in your packet.

If you have a cough, runny nose, sneezing or fever please do not attend class and reschedule.
